The Heightswine by Yarden is an Israeli sweet wine from frozen Gewurztraminer grapes, late harvested in the Golan Heights in winter when the climate is -17°C. It is a very rich and intense Ice Wine, with exuberant perfumes of dried exotic fruits, litchi, honey and sweet spices. Vineyards - In the Golan Heghts, between 400 and 1200 metres above sea level. Late manual harvest in a -12°C climate, when the grapes are frozen
Vinification- Soft pressing of the frozen grapes and slow fermentation for several months in small oak barrels
Aging- Some months in small oak barrels
Additional notes – Contains sulfites
