Legacy Cabernet Franc is a fascinating wine.  Its grapes were grown at the top if the Ephraim Hill that are of mountainous cool climate which have distinct impact on the characteristics of the wine.  The wine fermented naturally as a resulf of the yeast living on the grapes in the vineyard and in the winery.  The wine matured in oak barrels for 18 months until a complete synergy of flavors was reached and then bottled and continued to mature for another 10 months in the winery's cellar prior to its market release.
This wine goes well with food and is characterized by the typical aromas of the variety including notes of green herbs that combine with the fruit profile and soft oak influences.  Its texture is velvety and its presence remains on the palate long after drinking.
