The grapes for the Psagot Chardonnay were hand harvested at night from our finest plots of our highest quality vineyards in the Jerusalem Mountains.
The Psagot Chardonnay started fermentation in stainless steel, then went into new 300L Hungarian and French oak barrels, where it aged for 6 months creating a liquid perfume of refreshingly stylish, elegant and caressing complexity.
The nose and palate reveal lifted, rich and well-integrated fruit and oak, perfectly balanced from aging in French and Hungarian oak barrels.

Production: The grapes were hand harvested at night at optimum ripeness capturing mineral, melon and citrus flavors. Fermentation started in stainless steel tanks and continued in 300L Hungarian and French oak barrels where it aged on its lees for 6 months, creating a liquid perfume of rich, elegant and caressing complexity.

The nose displays lifted melon, citrus and well-integrated slightly creamy oak, gentle toast, perfectly balanced with aging in French and Hungarian oak barrels.
Medium bodied, showing flavors of fresh melon, citrus, mineral , with touches of
oak notes, slightly creamy texture with a refreshing acid structure, displaying
freshness, elegance and balance.
This tank and barrel fermented chardonnay makes an excellent aperitif wine
and would pair very well with cheeses, fish, and chicken dishes.
