The 2017 Sion Creek Red shows off a great combination of characters:  strawberry, raspberry, floral and spice.  The wine’s lighter body and attractive fruit notes make it a great everyday drinking red.
We like Sion Creek Red with many different foods.  Try along with grilled salmon topped with a fresh salsa crude or a crispy thin-crust pizza or a good juicy burger.  Sion Creek Red is best enjoyed within a couple of years of the vintage. The 2017 Golan Sion Creek Red continues our tradition of a unique blend of red varieties that includes Sangiovese, Syrah, Gamay Noir, Pinot Noir and small amounts of Nebbiolo and Napa Gamay.  The result is a complex, yet utterly friendly, easy drinking red wine.
