The wine is produced entirely from Merlot grapes from vineyards in the Galilee and the Golan Heights. A moderate-ripe harvest kept the wine’s freshness and a brief maturing process added to its pleasant complexity.
The Binyamina Moshava Merlot is deep cherry red in color, with on the nose, blackberries and raspberries, ripe plums, as well as a light hint of nutmeg. This wine is medium-bodied, with ripe, slightly jammy berry on the palate, Mediterranean herbs, medium-minus acidity, with notes of mochacaramel and round tannins that gently coat the mouth on the moderate finish.
